All doctors at Abbeylands Medical hold family planning certificates from the Irish Family Planning Association and are happy to discuss your family planning options.

The practice provides a comprehensive range of family planning services.

These include prescribing of the combined oral contraceptive pill or patch and the progesterone only pill.

We do provide advice and prescriptions for emergency contraception.

We also prescribe and administer more long term contraceptive options such as the Depo-Provera injection, implanon contraceptive implant and the mirena coil intrauterine contraceptive device.
