Childhood immunisations are available free of charge at Abbeylands Medical.

For babies born before 1st October 2016 the schedule is as outlined below:

2 months : 2 injections : 6 in 1 and PCV

4 Months: 2 injections : 6 in 1 and MenC

6 Months: 2 injections : 6 in 1 and PCV

12 Months: 2 injections : MMR and PCV

13 Months: 2 injections : MenC and Hib 

The HSE have updated the schedule of immunisations for all babies born on or after October 1st 2016 in line with NIAC recommendations.

The updated schedule is as outlined below:

2 months : 3 injections + oral vaccine : 6 in 1, PCV, MenB and Rotavirus

4 Months: 2 injections + oral vaccine : 6 in 1, MenB and Rotavirus

6 Months: 3 injections : 6 in 1, PCV and MenC

12 Months: 2 injections : MMR and MenB

13 Months: 2 injections : Hib/MenC and PCV

6 in 1: Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b, Hepatits B vaccine

Hib/MenC: Haemophilus influenzae type b / Meningococcal C vaccine

MenB: Meningococcal B vaccine

MenC: Meningococcal C vaccine

MMR: Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccine

PCV: Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine
